Privacy policy

Who we are. Tube Snip (tubesnip.com) is run by a small independent team. Write to support@tubesnip.com about anything in this policy.

What we collect. When you create an account: your email address and your name. When you sign in with Google: only your name, email address, profile picture link and Google account ID, which Google shares with us after you agree. We do not get your Google password, contacts, files, YouTube account or anything else from Google. When you use Tube Snip: the video links you submit, the results you save to your Library, your credit balance and invoices, and basic technical data (browser, approximate country, shortened IP address) to keep the service safe.

How we use it. To run your account and sign you in (including emailing you sign-in codes and links), to deliver the tools you use, to show your credits and invoices, to prevent abuse (for example one welcome bonus per person), and to send account emails. Product tips by email can be turned off at any time with the unsubscribe link.

Google user data. Tube Snip's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google sign-in data only to create and sign in to your Tube Snip account. We never sell it, never use it for ads, and never share it except as needed to run the service or as the law requires.

Cookies. A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in. Anonymous analytics help us improve pages. Guests and Free users may see Google AdSense ads, which use cookies; you can opt out in your Google ad settings. Paid plans have no ads.

Who processes data for us. Our own servers (hosting), Google (sign-in, email delivery and, where shown, ads), Stripe (payments; we never see your card number) and the AI providers that run the AI tools on the video text you choose.

How long we keep it. Account data while your account exists. Sign-in logs for 180 days. Unconfirmed sign-ups are removed after a while. When you delete your workspace (Settings → Delete workspace), your results, keys and team are deleted; invoices are kept as tax law requires.

Your rights. You can see, correct, download or delete your data. Write to support@tubesnip.com and we answer within 30 days. We do not sell your personal data.
